Access Point (AP)

Wireless AP is the bridge of communication between wireless network and wired network, and is the core device for building a wireless local area network (WLAN). An access point acts as a central transmitter and receiver of radio signals. It is used in homes, public Internet hotspots, and business networks to accommodate wired and wireless networking equipment.
